Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover is a deeply emotional, poignant, and agonizing contemporary romance that explores themes of redemption, grief, and the fierce complexity of a mother’s love.

After serving five years in prison for a tragic, irreversible mistake that resulted in the death of her first love, Scott, Kenna Rowan returns to the town where it all went wrong. Her singular, desperate goal is to reclaim a place in the life of her now four-year-old daughter, Diem, whom she was forced to give up at birth and has never been allowed to hold. However, the bridges Kenna burned seem completely impossible to rebuild; Scott’s grieving parents and tight-knit friends are fiercely protective of the little girl, keeping Kenna completely shut out and treating her presence as a volatile threat.
